RefreshOS is now built on the robust foundation of Debian Linux, moving away from its previous base, Kubuntu 22.04 LTS, which powered RefreshOS 1.23. As of April 2025, version 1.23 is no longer supported by eXybit Technologies™, and its core system, Kubuntu 22.04 LTS, is also no longer supported by Canonical.
