RefreshOS 2.0

RefreshOS 2.0 (Boundless Beagle), crafted by eXybit Technologies™, is built on Debian Linux and offers a blend of user-friendliness, speed, and elegance. It focuses on stability, customization, and seamless Qt integration, with enhanced features and improved performance to meet diverse user needs.

Featuring KDE Plasma, RefreshOS 2.0 delivers smooth interactions and advanced functionalities like smartphone connectivity, KRunner, and virtual desktops. Equipped with LibreOffice, GIMP, and Brave Web Browser, it supports both creative and productivity tasks. Maintaining a clean, vanilla experience without Snap or Flatpak, and transitioning to Debian 12 ensures a reliable and powerful platform.



RefreshOS 1.23

RefreshOS 1.23 was a user-friendly, fast, and clean operating system maintained by eXybit Technologies™, offering a familiar and customizable GUI built on Kubuntu 22.04 LTS. Designed for both home and office use, it featured powerful tools like desktop search, seamless cell phone connectivity, and the KDE Plasma desktop. Preloaded with essential software such as LibreOffice, GIMP, and Chromium, RefreshOS 1.23 provided a complete out-of-the-box experience.

RefreshOS is now built on the robust foundation of Debian Linux, moving away from its previous base, Kubuntu 22.04 LTS, which powered RefreshOS 1.23. As of April 2025, version 1.23 is no longer supported by eXybit Technologies™, and its core system, Kubuntu 22.04 LTS, is also no longer supported by Canonical. RefreshOS 1.0

RefreshOS 1.0 was built on Kubuntu 20.04 and marked Jordan Tyler Burchett's first stable operating system release. This version replaced several KDE applications with more lightweight and elegant open-source alternatives. It was the first to include an installer and was released alongside its updated counterpart, RefreshOS 1.23.

RefreshOS 0.22.1.29_rc

RefreshOS 0.22.1.29 rc was the release candidate and the first version of the Linux distribution created by Jordan Tyler Burchett. Built on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, it was a live version designed to allow users to test drive the environment and showcase eXybit Technologies™'s vision for a Linux operating system.
